CHACHAPOYAS / KUELAP

The city of Chachapoyas preserves beautiful mansions and colonial balconies. From there we can take excursions to the impressive Citadel of Kuelap built atop rocky hills by the Chachapoyas, brave people that for years resisted the Inca colonization.

In this area we can also visit the Lake of the Condors or of the Mummies, the Chinata waterfalls and the Karajia Sarcophagi, amazing two meter high clay tombs located in a mountain.
