CHICLAYO

Chiclayo is the capital city of Lambayeque, cradle of numerous pre-Hispanic cultures developed between the 1st and 7th centuries AD. The famous Royal Tombs of Sipan were discovered in this archaeological area, where important figures of the Moche Culture were buried. The Lambayeque Culture has left us a legacy of more than twenty adobe pyramids (40 meters in height) surrounded by rich fauna and old vegetation.
