NAZCA / PARACAS
Nazca city preserves the secrets of their ancestors, great masters of pottery and authors of the huge and impressive network of lines and drawings spread on the ‘pampas’. The Nazca Lines, so called from its discovery in 1927, is the most incredible vestige ever made by a culture forged 300 years before the Christian era, and can only be seen from the sky, at 1,500 feet in height.
Paracas concentrates major tourist attractions such as the Natural Reserve of Paracas and the Ballestas Islands, home to Humboldt penguins, sea lions and flocks of seabirds.
