Paracas & Nasca (3 days / 2 nights)

Day 1: Lima – Paracas

Transfer to the station, for the bus trip (regular service) to Paracas. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Paracas – Ballestas Islands – Nasca

In the morning, transfer to the pier for the excursion to the Ballestas Islands, the most important wildlife sanctuary on the Peruvian coast. There we will watch sea lions, pelicans, penguins, and other sea birds. On the way back, we can see the ‘Candelabro’ (Chandelier), a giant figure drawn on the side of the hill with the same style of the Nasca Lines. In the afternoon, we continue our trip to Nasca by bus (regular service). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Day 3: Nasca – Flight over Nasca Lines – Lima

Transfer to Maria Reiche aerodrome to board a light aircraft to fly over (aprox 30 mins) the mysterious Nasca Lines; enormous linear drawings of animals, birds and geometric pictures, drawn on the desert and can only be seen from the sky. Then we visit the city, Cantalloc Aqueducts, the natural viewpoint of Cantalloc to watch the ‘Telar’ (loom) figure, Paredones (Inca administrative center), Antonini Museum and a pottery workshop.  At agreed time, transfer to the station for your return trip to Lima by bus (regular service). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.
